.:: Magenta Looking Glass ::..
On some days, late in the afternoon, the sky is aglow with eerie colours. In this particular shot, I was on my way home from a long day shooting in the dunes, when I noticed a ditch to the right.
The reflection on the surface was absolutely stunning.
I set up near the water and started shooting around. Then, soon afterwards, the sky changed to an even more magical colour and hail clouds filled the sky. I discarded the panorama I was working on and started over. I had to hurry as well, because the light was leaving the day to the west. So another boost to the ISO and a slight increase in the size of the aperture, because it already took 25 seconds to shoot one picture. The result became 'Magenta Looking Glass'.
12 Shot panorama at 12mm with the 550D. f/11, 25s, ISO800.
