.:: The Firmament Withdrew ::.. This lone fir tree stands tall in the snowy dunes of Den Helder. The low perspective captures the majesty of him and his sibling in the open field, while reeling in the colours of dawn in the background. Although it's an HDR shot, I didn't have enough exposure to fully extract the details from the silhouette of the tree.
I used this very tree in 'Conjunction' as well, with Venus and Jupiter in the night sky. I honestly could never shoot the same picture twice, even if I wanted to. The changing weather, the seasons and of course the growing of the trees make that nearly impossible. The same landscapes are always evolving. It's up to the photographer to do the same.
